Queen Anne Gravy Boat w/Tray

Queen Anne Collection Queen Anne ruled 1702-1714, an era characterized by the emergence of a new British spirit fifty years after the 1660 Restoration. This was a time when the works of John Locke, Sir Isaac Newton and Jonathan Swift influenced thought and aristocratic taste. It was a period of unprecedented emphasis on domestic luxury and elegance. Pewterers and silversmiths responded to the tastes and demands of the times by creating dinnerware and serveware that are distinctively "Queen Anne". The Wilton Armetale Queen Anne series portrays the stylish mood at the birth of the 18th century England. The soft, pleasing aura of these pieces regains the old English elegance in these reproductions since their introduction in the late 1960s. They fit into any Traditional, Colonial, Transitional, Folk, and Country context.

Features:

  • The Queen Anne Gravy Boat w/ Tray makes presenting and passing gravies or sauces easy and elegant.
  • Consider adding the Gravy Boat to the Queen Anne Tureen w/ Lid & Ladle for side sauces or for large parties.
  • Add the Queen Anne Large Charger as an under liner and presentation set.

Care & Use:

Simply wash your Armetale serveware with mild soap, then rinse with hot water and towel-dry. Automatic dishwashers are not recommended because the chemicals in water may harm the metal's fine finish. However, slight scratches caused by the cutting action of knives and forks are normal. They lend character and an air of authenticity to your serveware.
